Today, we received a few notice from our friends through WhatsApp. The content of that scamming is like the picture below:
The message above showing us that “Adidas is giving away 3100 Free Pair of Shoes & T-Shirts to celebrate its 96th anniversary. “ Below that, there is a website which scam us to click in.
When you click in the website, the web page will be like this,
The final step will instruct you to share this message to your friends through WhatsApp.
The last section of this web page is quite interesting as the people who comment below are fake, they are unclickable. Those are just images and unable for us to click. They all have same common surname which is “Smith”.
We go further digging for information and search who’s behind of this website. Look what we found,
The website isn’t related to Adidas, the website is registered under com-claimgiftcard.com . The register company name is GoDaddy.com, LLC. If it is a official Adidas website, it will be like this.
This is the official website of Singapore Adidas. The register company name is Adidas Sourcing Limited which is under Adidas Group.
We suspect the scam website real purpose is to track IP Address and obtain more information from us. To prevent this, share this information to your friends and families. This news brought to you by SHOENEWS team.
