Nike is celebrating Air Max Day today with new sneaker releases. On March 26th, Nike released the original Air Max 1. It is created by legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield. Air Max 1 was the first shoe the Swoosh released that showcased Air technology inside. Now, Nike recognizes March 26th as Air Max day, which is 27th in Asia Pacific areas and the company is celebrating 33 years of success.
